We are ready for Spirit Week!

The Greatest Wildcat Competition of all is about to begin. Monday kicks off Spirit Week where the four classes compete all week long for points. The winning class -- who demonstrates most school spirit -- earns bragging rights for the rest of the year. Art Teacher Celine Soucy and her students have inspired us all with artistic renditions hanging in the cafe of our man J.G. Whittier wearing the appropriate clothing for each day.

Each day has a theme and students and staff dress up to represent. Friday, Oct. 20th features the highly-anticipated Pep Rally where teams compete in several contests -- tug of war, relay race, basketball shootout, and of course, noise, noise, noise! So, get your Wildcat on. The themes for each day are:

Monday -- Breast Cancer Awareness  -- Wear pink 

Tuesday -- Favorite Professional Sports Team 

Wednesday -- Whittier Pride -- Wear school colors

Thursday -- Spiffy Day -- Dress your best

Friday -- Class Color Day: Freshmen - Red; Sophomores - Green; Juniors - Blue; Seniors - Black

Class color T-shirts with the WT logo are on sale for $7 each in the school store and at lunches.
