Calling all eighth graders! Open House is Nov. 5, 1 to 4 p.m.

Eighth graders, you have a choice about where to attend high school. If you are interested in specializing in a vocational or technical area before you go to college or embark on a career, Whittier Tech may be the school for you. One thing to consider is -- there are now thousands of jobs in the Merrimack Valley and beyond for skilled tradesmen -- carpenters, plumbers, electricians, masons, metal fabricators, machine technicians and more -- and we educate and provide certifications in all of those areas. Click on the link below for a CBS article about how the 2008 recession has turned around, and the number of companies who are now actively seeking skilled tradesmen to fill jobs, starting with areas that have recently been devastated by hurricanes.
