We have two nominees for YMCA's Educator of Year -- to be named tonight

Our Guidance Counselor Joe Boland and Machine Technology Instructor Paul Moskevitz are two of the Haverhill educators being honored tonight as nominees for the YMCA Educator of the Year award.

A crowd of family members, friends and colleagues has filled DiBurro's Function Hall to fete them and the other nominees at the eighth annual dinner and awards presentation. Health Occupations Teacher Jane Moskevitz, who is married to Paul, won the award last year. 

Educators are nominated by members of the community, including current and former students, parents and peers. A panel assembled by the YMCA reads all the nominations and selects the winner, who receives a prize for his or her classroom.
