Sophomores celebrate end of MCAS tests with ice cream party

All sophomores were called to the cafeteria at 1:30 today for an ice cream sundae party to mark the end of three MCAS tests they took this spring. In March, they sat for the English Language Arts test, in May it was the math test, and finally, last week, they finished with biology.

Katrina Jensen, Whittier's Coordinator of Data and Assessment, thanked students for their hard work and asked them to applaud the teachers who got them through the year. Students must pass the tests before they graduate to receive a high school diploma.
