Students excel at United Nations debates

Our United Nations Debate Team had a lively season this year with two contests at Massachusetts universities.

At their first debate of the year, April 3-5 at UMass Lowell’s Model United Nations Conference, senior Matthew Gorham received the Second Place Outstanding Delegate award. He represented the nation of Canada on the Science and Technology Committee.

At Northeastern University's Model United Nations conference on May 18, seniors Malina Dim and Natasha Richard received the Best Position Paper award. Natasha and Melina represented the United Kingdom on the Human Rights Council and received the Best Position Paper award.

Co-Advisors are History Teacher Jana Brown and CAD Instructor Scott Robertson.
