DEA Agent visits Criminal Justice class

DEA Agent Glen Coletti visited Mr. Valhouli’s Criminal Justice Class yesterday and today to share his experiences with the Drug Enforcement Agency. He began as a police officer in Milford, NH, but wanted more challenges, he said. He described his path to the job, including his field training, the written exam and the type of life he leads to excel in his profession. Agent Coletti also discussed the opioid crisis and the goals of the DEA and federal government, along with federal vs. state drug charges and how plea bargains are used.

Other guest speakers who have visited the class this year include local police officers, homicide detectives and members of the FBI.
