Graduation

Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School (Whittier Tech) celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025 today. Graduates gathered on the athletic field Thursday evening with family and friends in attendance.

Superintendent Maureen Lynch praised the Class of 2025 for their determination and drive. “This class has faced unprecedented challenges and met each one with resilience and purpose,” said Lynch. “They are ready to take on the world—whether that means entering the workforce, pursuing further education, or serving their country. I am proud of every one of them, and I know they will make meaningful contributions in whatever path they choose.”

The keynote address was delivered by Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, whose message highlighted the importance of civic leadership, determination, and service.

“It was a true honor joining Whittier Tech’s Class of 2025 in celebration of their amazing achievement,” said Auditor DiZoglio. “These graduates are courageous and capable, and the changemakers our communities have been waiting for. They have a purpose and calling in their lives and can overcome every challenge, just as they did to get here and graduate. Thank you to Superintendent Maureen Lynch, and all distinguished faculty and alums, for the generous opportunity to offer a few words and for their tireless efforts in making this day possible.”

As a regional vocational-technical school, Whittier Tech prepares students not only for college, but also for immediate entry into the workforce, service, or advanced training. The Class of 2025 exemplifies this commitment to readiness, excellence, and opportunity. Their next steps reflect the diversity of talent and ambition that Whittier fosters across its technical programs and academic curriculum.

Alivia Phillips, a Class of 2025 graduate from Haverhill in the Advanced Manufacturing program, recently signed on to continue working at her co-op job with Magellan Aerospace. “Whittier gave me the chance to learn real skills and apply them right away,” said Phillips. “My co-op turned into a career, and I’m excited to keep growing with a company that believes in what I can do.”
