Denis is the student of Jessica Spinney of Haverhill.
Denis was recognized by his English teacher Ms. Desberg and his current and former carpentry instructors, Mr. Lavigne and Mr. Boucher. Ms. Desberg shared, "Denis is a curious, focused, and engaged student in English 11. He is polite and kind to his teacher and fellow students too. From what I've seen so far, he's a lifelong learner who will go far with his skill set (that of course he'll continue to work on) and his personality!" His carpentry instructors echoed similar sentiments, noting that ever since freshman year, Denis' positivity and great attitude have been on display since he arrived at Whittier. His junior year carpentry teacher Mr. Lavigne added that he is consistently working hard and staying on task, making him a worthy recipient for this month's recognition.
