Tyler Stone

December's Student of the Month is junior Tyler Stone.

Tyler is the son of Kerri Stone of Haverhill and Michael Stone of Saugus.

Tyler has been nominated by Vocational Coordinator Amanda Crosby.  She shared: "I would like to nominate Tyler Stone for student of the month. Tyler is a junior in Health Assisting. I approached Tyler in November as I needed a student to speak during a CCTE Pathways Workshop: Designing for Equity. He agreed to represent Whittier's Health Assisting program. When the day arrived for the workshop, Whittier had a two-hour delay.

Not only did Tyler respond to my email, he showed up at 8:30 AM and did an outstanding job during the student Q & A session of the workshop. Representatives from other school districts referenced Tyler's contributions long after he left the meeting. Thank you Tyler for being an exemplar of what the Whittier Tech community is all about!"

In addition to his amazing performance at the workshop, Tyler is also involved with SkillsUSA and the Whittier Tech Drama Club.  Last year, he had a standout performance as King Triton in the production of The Little Mermaid.

Congratulations, Tyler!
