The March Student of the Month is Brady Coburn.
Brady is a Grade 12 student in HVAC-R. He is the son of Chandra & Shane Silva of Salisbury and Heath Coburn of Seabrook.
Brady was recently selected to be featured in a video highlighting Whittier student success. As a student who has worked extremely hard and found success both in his shop and in the classroom, Brady was an easy choice. During filming, Brady quickly impressed Vocational Director Amanda Crosby and Director of Community Partnerships Tia Gerber. They both praised his professionalism, enthusiasm, and flexibility. HVAC teacher Scott Marchand agreed, sharing "Brady is a genuinely hardworking and intelligent high school student. He puts consistent effort into everything he does. Rather than relying solely on natural ability, he takes the time to understand the material deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and stays organized with his responsibilities. Brady approaches challenges with determination and doesn’t give up easily, even when something is difficult. At the same time, he is kind and respectful to others, making him someone teachers and classmates appreciate having around. Brady's combination of strong work ethic, curiosity, and positive attitude sets him apart and will continue to serve him well in the future." Next year, Brady plans to work full time for his co-op employer ROSS Company and we are sure he has a bright future there!
Congratulations, Brady!
