Dental Assisting student An Ngo gives 2 thumbs up at her co-op job.

The April Student of the Month is An Ngo.

An is a Grade 11 student in Dental Assisting.  She is the student of Hoa Nugyen of Haverhill.

An was nominated by Vocational Director Ms. Crosby.  Ms. Crosby shared that Superintendent Lynch received an email from Massachusetts Secretary of Education Stephen Zrike, who was recently a patient at the dental office where An is working.  Secretary Zrike was beyond complimentary when recalling the excellent work An did on his dental cleaning as well as her professionalism, kindness, and obvious ability to connect with patients and encourage good dental hygiene.  He pointed to An as a shining example of why vocational schools are so important for our communities.

Her dental instructors also shared "An is a driven, compassionate student who consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude in both the classroom and at work. She is dependable, eager to learn, and carries herself with professionalism while working with staff and patients. Her ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and take initiative has allowed her to make meaningful contributions to the office each day. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to her classmates, offering support and encouragement whenever needed. Her caring nature, reliability, and teamwork make her a valued member of the dental team and our classroom community."

Congratulations, An!
