Group Shot of Students Who Participated in Career Signing Day

Students at Whittier Tech took an important step toward their futures during our Annual Career Signing Day held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The event celebrated graduating seniors who officially committed to employment opportunities with local businesses and industry partners as they prepare to transition from high school into the workforce.

Career Signing Day centers the strong partnerships between Whittier Tech and employers across the region, showcasing the real-world skills, professionalism, and hands-on experience students have developed throughout their career and technical education programs. Surrounded by family members, instructors, administrators, employers, and classmates, participating seniors signed letters of intent recognizing their post-graduation employment commitments.

The annual event reflects Whittier Tech’s ongoing mission to prepare students for success in both college and career pathways while meeting the workforce needs of local industries. Through cooperative education experiences, internships, and industry-based training, students gain valuable experience that allows them to graduate career-ready and prepared to make an immediate impact in their chosen fields. 228 Seniors participated in co-op, which is 73% of the Class of 2026.
