🔗 Kindness Chain Challenge - One small act of kindness can spark a ripple effect.
Here’s how to join the chain:
1️⃣ Do one kind thing today — big or small
2️⃣ Tag 2 friends and challenge them to do the same
3️⃣ Use #WildcatKindness so we can follow the chain!
Together, we can create a wave of good that stretches beyond Whittier Tech.
Let’s keep it going, kindness looks good on you. ✨

🛠️ Skill Swap Challenge
For this week’s Kindness Challenge: Use one of your tech/shop skills to help someone else. Example: Fix a bike, tune up a lawnmower, trim a neighbor’s hair, install something, build something, teach someone.
You’ve got real skills, and kindness is putting them to work for others. 🤝
Tag us, or share in the comments if you share your talent this week! Let’s see Wildcats using what they’ve learned to make a difference.

🌊 Over 6,200 Pounds of River Pollution Removed In Just Two Weeks!
Whittier Tech’s SkillsUSA students and the Clean River Project removed more than 6,200 pounds of trash and debris from just two containment booms placed in the Merrimack River.
These booms, funded by our SkillsUSA team and installed in partnership with the Clean River Project, are designed to catch harmful pollutants before they travel downstream. In just two weeks, the boom collected hypodermic needles, plastic bottles, human waste, CSO-related debris, and more.
This project is a powerful reminder of what’s entering our waterways and the impact students can make when they lead with purpose.
📸 Thank you to Rocky Morrison for sharing these images and for his ongoing leadership in environmental stewardship.

🎬 A Shared Step Forward!
The 11 cities and towns that make up the Whittier Tech district have come together to begin a regional conversation about the future of the school building, and the future of technical education in the region.
This united message reflects a commitment to exploring all options, including a partnership with Northern Essex Community College, to support students, communities, and the workforce they serve.
This is about more than buildings. It’s about our students, our workforce, and our shared future.
