✨ Why Whittier? ✨

Our CAD/Drafting program gives students hands-on experience in design and engineering through the use of industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Students progress from foundational drafting techniques to advanced 3D modeling and prototyping, developing both technical precision and creative problem-solving skills.

With opportunities to earn ADDA certification and college credit through the NECC/Whittier Tech Advanced Manufacturing Concurrent Enrollment program, graduates leave ready to pursue careers or further studies in engineering, architecture, or design technology.

🇺🇸 Honoring PFC Evan W. O’Neill 🇺🇸

Today, all Grade 9 English classes gathered at the memorial flag pole where SkillsUSA members Marco Moscardini (Class of 2027, Dental Assisting, Haverhill) and Shealeigh Sullivan (Class of 2026, CAD, Haverhill) led a tribute to Private First Class Evan William O’Neill, a 2002 Whittier Tech graduate who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 29, 2003.

PFC O’Neill is remembered as a son, a friend, a Wildcat, a soldier, and a hero. His courage, selflessness, and legacy live on through the lives he touched and the values he exemplified.

We extend our gratitude to English instructor Ms. Bragg, who coordinated today’s remembrance, and to our SkillsUSA students for leading this solemn tribute.

At Whittier Tech, we see the future of these professions every day in our classrooms and shops. Our students are developing the expertise, certifications, and experiences that prepare them to step into these critical roles as the Workforce of Tomorrow.
