Earlier today, we proudly hosted the Senior Awards Ceremony, a heartfelt tribute to the outstanding achievements of our graduating Class of 2025. Each academic and vocational department recognized seniors who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership—nominated by the very faculty who have guided their journeys.
Highlights of the ceremony included the presentation of distinguished honors such as the MassCTE Presidential Certificate of Merit, MAVA Vocational Student of the Year, the Massachusetts Seal of Biliteracy, the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors of Massachusetts Certificate of Recognition, and the announcement of our WREA Scholarship recipients. These accolades reflect not only individual excellence but the collective strength and spirit of this remarkable senior class.
Before the ceremony, seniors took part in Whittier Tech’s beloved “clap out” tradition—bookending their high school experience with the same energy and encouragement they received during their freshman year “clap in.” The celebration continued with a barbecue lunch and yearbook signing, giving students and staff a chance to reflect, connect, and share in the excitement of what’s ahead.
As we now turn our eyes to tonight’s graduation, we do so with immense pride and confidence in the Class of 2025. You have left your mark on Whittier Tech—and we can't wait to see how you'll shape the world.
