The May Student of the Month is Jackson Baily.
Jackson is a junior in our Culinary & Hospitality Program. He is the son of Benjamin Baily and Erin Shaw of Haverhill.
Jackson is being nominated for his consistent performance and leadership in his Career Technical Program. He shows true leadership on a daily basis through words and actions. His peers look to him for advice and reassurance and his teachers know they can count on him for a job well done. In addition, Jackson is a strong academic student who routinely make honor roll. His GPA, in combination with his strong character and service to the community, led to initiation in National Technical Honor Society this spring. Over the years, Jackson has been a member of our Environmental Club, has participated in SkillsUSA competitions, and has been a 3 year member of the soccer team. Outside of school, Jackson holds a part time job working at a local restaurant. His shop teachers shared "Jackson is a great pick for student of the month. He is a true leader in our shop. The students look up to him and he jumps in to take leadership roles when they become available. He is truly a positive and energetic student that everyone looks forward to interacting with."
Congratulations, Jackson!
