Whittier Tech welcomed more than 250 Advisory members on Wednesday evening for its spring Program Advisory Meeting, bringing together representatives from all CTE areas in a shared commitment to student success and workforce readiness.
Guests enjoyed a dinner and dessert prepared by students in the Culinary and Hospitality program, while the evening highlighted the depth of student learning across campus. Presentations from the SkillsUSA American Spirit team offered a preview of their upcoming state competition, and attendees were introduced to student-created Little Libraries that will soon be installed across all 11 sending communities. A handcrafted podium, created through the Carpentry program under the direction of instructor Mark Whittier, was also unveiled.
