✨ Taste of Merrimack Valley ✨

Whittier Tech’s Culinary and Hospitality programs proudly participated in the Taste of Merrimack Valley event this past Monday evening at the DoubleTree in Andover.

Our talented students prepared the food:
• Herb Cheese Spread Pumpkins – Esmerlin Dilone-Ynoa (Junior) & Alex Melino-Getz (Sophomore)
• Apple Pie Bites – Jordyn Anziani (Freshman)

👏 Student event volunteers (all juniors) included Naomy Montero-Alvarez, Navaiah Smith, and Tristan Jackson.

Marketing Senior Hailey Rocker created the signage that was used bringing Culinary and Marketing together.

Special thanks to instructors Krisztina Perron, Nicole Grupposo, and Nik Kedian for their guidance and support.

This event was an incredible opportunity for our students to showcase their skills, connect with the community, and gain inspiration from local foodservice professionals.

🇺🇸 Honoring PFC Evan W. O’Neill 🇺🇸

Today, all Grade 9 English classes gathered at the memorial flag pole where SkillsUSA members Marco Moscardini (Class of 2027, Dental Assisting, Haverhill) and Shealeigh Sullivan (Class of 2026, CAD, Haverhill) led a tribute to Private First Class Evan William O’Neill, a 2002 Whittier Tech graduate who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 29, 2003.

PFC O’Neill is remembered as a son, a friend, a Wildcat, a soldier, and a hero. His courage, selflessness, and legacy live on through the lives he touched and the values he exemplified.

We extend our gratitude to English instructor Ms. Bragg, who coordinated today’s remembrance, and to our SkillsUSA students for leading this solemn tribute.
