✨ Alumni Connection ✨

Meet Kaley Thibault, Class of 2018 Cosmetology graduate from Methuen. Today, Kaley is an esthetician and the proud owner of Ultimate Glow LLC.

“Whittier Tech gave me the confidence and leadership skills to grow in my trade. At 24 years old, I never imagined I’d be running my own business without attending college.” – Kaley Thibault ’18

Kaley’s story is a reminder to future Wildcats: believe in your training, trust the process, and know that your goals are within reach.

⚙️ Celebrating Manufacturing Day at Whittier Tech! ⚙️

Our Advanced Manufacturing program integrates technical knowledge with hands-on experience in precision manufacturing. Students gain skills in machine shop theory, blueprint reading, applied mathematics, and the operation of advanced equipment, including CNC machines.

With 26 Wildcats currently enrolled in grades 10–12—and every freshman exploring the program during Exploratory—this shop is shaping the workforce of tomorrow.

We’re especially proud that the program is led by Whittier Tech alum Bruce Boisselle (Class of 2001), who brings both industry expertise and Wildcat pride to today’s students.

On this #ManufacturingDay, we join schools and companies nationwide in celebrating the future of modern manufacturing and the students who will power it.

🎉🇵🇷 Today’s Hispanic Heritage Month spotlight from the Multicultural Club comes from Lynette Williams, freshman from Haverhill!

“Today we are highlighting the territory of Puerto Rico! Fun fact: Puerto Rico is the original place of reggaeton music, a genre that combines reggae, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms. Worldwide star singers like Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny started here. I hope you all take the time to learn about Puerto Rico and celebrate its culture with joy. Together let’s show that same joy as Whittier wildcats. Gracias, y ¡Viva Puerto Rico!. Once again We are Whittier Tech!”

✨ Taste of Merrimack Valley ✨

Whittier Tech’s Culinary and Hospitality programs proudly participated in the Taste of Merrimack Valley event this past Monday evening at the DoubleTree in Andover.

Our talented students prepared the food:
• Herb Cheese Spread Pumpkins – Esmerlin Dilone-Ynoa (Junior) & Alex Melino-Getz (Sophomore)
• Apple Pie Bites – Jordyn Anziani (Freshman)

👏 Student event volunteers (all juniors) included Naomy Montero-Alvarez, Navaiah Smith, and Tristan Jackson.

Marketing Senior Hailey Rocker created the signage that was used bringing Culinary and Marketing together.

Special thanks to instructors Krisztina Perron, Nicole Grupposo, and Nik Kedian for their guidance and support.

This event was an incredible opportunity for our students to showcase their skills, connect with the community, and gain inspiration from local foodservice professionals.

Giving Back with Style!

Senior cosmetology student Emma Marion of Haverhill recently gave client Katie a fresh wash, cut, and style — after Katie donated her 10-inch braid to support individuals experiencing hair loss. Acts of kindness like this reflect the heart of our Cosmetology program, where students not only master their craft but also make a positive impact.
