Whittier Tech wins Best Overall Float for the 2024 Santa Parade!
Each diamond on the float represents our 24 CTE programs and was decorated by students in those shops. Carpentry, Electronics/Robotics, Electrical, HVAC and Welding all assisted with the design this year. Shout out to our Art Instructor, Paul Murray and his students, for coming up with this creative design!

Special congratulations to Joe Boland! Coach Boland was recently selected to be inducted into the MA Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame for the Class of 2025! Coach Boland was our Head Coach for 26 seasons where he posted a 338-205 mark. His teams won 16 league titles and took home Division 3 North titles twice.
The Class of 2025 will be inducted at a ceremony in January 2025. Coach Boland was also a longtime guidance counselor at Whittier Tech. In Mr. Beauregard and Mrs. Budd’s Physics class, students launched marbles from the fourth-floor balcony to the lobby, using math to predict where the bucket would land. Some marbles made the perfect splash, while others took a detour—but everyone got a taste of practical application and the thrill of science!

Special recognition to Lila Coombs, a junior in our Electronics Robotics program, who opened the event with the National Anthem and closed with two stanzas of America the Beautiful.
