🍽️ Whittier Tech Culinary Students Are Cooking Up Career Credentials! This year, 15 seniors in the Culinary Arts program earned their ServSafe Food Manager Certification—a nationally recognized credential in food safety and restaurant management. 📐 Whittier Tech CAD Students Are Earning National Drafting Certifications! This year, students in the Computer-Aided Design program achieved multiple certifications through the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA): ✔️ 1 dual-certified senior earned both the Apprentice Architectural and Apprentice Mechanical Draftsman certifications ✔️ 3 eleventh and twelfth graders earned the Apprentice Drafter Certification ✔️ 1 senior also passed the Apprentice Mechanical Draftsman certification These accomplishments reflect the technical precision and dedication of our CAD students and instructors. #WeAreWhittierTech #CareerAndTechnicalEducation #WorkforceOfTomorrow

📣 A United Commitment to the Future of Whittier Tech In a historic show of unity, Whittier Tech and leaders from all 11 member communities have signed a letter of agreement supporting the launch of a new school building effort, an essential first step toward entering the MSBA pipeline on August 1. This moment is especially meaningful, as it reflects a shared commitment from all communities. Together, we’re opening the door to a future-focused Whittier Tech, with a vision that includes exploring a first-in-the-state campus model in partnership with Northern Essex Community College. 🌊 Over 6,200 Pounds of River Pollution Removed In Just Two Weeks! Whittier Tech’s SkillsUSA students and the Clean River Project removed more than 6,200 pounds of trash and debris from just two containment booms placed in the Merrimack River. These booms, funded by our SkillsUSA team and installed in partnership with the Clean River Project, are designed to catch harmful pollutants before they travel downstream. In just two weeks, the boom collected hypodermic needles, plastic bottles, human waste, CSO-related debris, and more. ✏️ Math meets art in this creative year-end project! Students in Mrs. Munroe’s class wrapped up the year with a Desmos Art Project, using algebraic equations and graphing skills to design digital masterpieces. Through Desmos.com, students applied what they learned all year—functions, transformations, domain and range, and inequalities—to bring their creative visions to life. “I am impressed by their creativity as well as their artistic and mathematical accomplishments.
