From the kitchens of Whittier Tech to the courtside action with the Boston Celtics, Taysha Diaz has turned her passion into a career as a Performance Chef.

Reflecting on her journey, Taysha credits her Whittier experience for building her confidence and sparking her love for cooking:
“All of the support, encouragement, and trust from my chefs really helped to empower me. I don’t think I’d be where I am today if it weren’t for the three amazing chefs I met at Whittier.”

Culinary Arts students from Whittier Tech attended the “Taste of Fall” Sysco Food Show at Wachusett Mountain on Tuesday, October 28!

Students from Grades 10–12 enjoyed sampling new products and connecting with industry professionals who share their passion for food. A special thank you to Mr. Kedian for making this flavorful opportunity possible!

Collaboration in action at Whittier Tech!

Marketing student Leslie Gonell teamed up with Carpentry student Kylee Cannon to create a custom Whittier Tech logo stencil for use in the Carpentry shop’s Open House preparations. After discussing the project’s needs, Leslie designed and produced the stencil—showcasing the power of creativity and cross-shop teamwork.

Our Marketing Education program gives students a strong foundation in marketing, advertising, and sales, while also exploring finance, management, and business operations.

Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students learn how to plan campaigns, analyze markets, and communicate effectively across industries.

By the end of sophomore year, students select their trade certificate credential and continue building the skills needed for success in a wide range of business and marketing careers.
