Whittier Tech was honored to welcome Kalister Green-Byrd as a guest speaker for Black History Month. Ms. Green-Byrd, a lifelong advocate for education and civil rights, shared her incredible journey—from growing up in the segregated South to walking alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and dedicating her life to empowering children in Massachusetts. With two master's degrees and decades of service, her story inspires us all.
Thank you to Richard da Silva, one of our DVC students, for capturing these moments during the presentation! 📸
