🎉 Yesterday was a day we’ll never forget! 🎉
When senior Trevor Comora (Amesbury) got called to the main office, he thought it was about his parking pass, but instead, he got the surprise of a lifetime: his mom, Staff Sergeant Nicole Walker, was there to greet him after nearly a year deployed in Poland with the 1060th Transportation Company. 💛❤️
Welcome home, Staff Sgt. Walker! Thank you to you and your family for your service and sacrifice! 🇺🇸 #WildcatPride #WelcomeHome #MilitaryFamily #ThankYouForYourService #WeAreWhittierTech

At Whittier Tech, we see the future of these professions every day in our classrooms and shops. Our students are developing the expertise, certifications, and experiences that prepare them to step into these critical roles as the Workforce of Tomorrow.
Today we celebrate the incredible impact of tradesmen, and the Wildcats who are training to become the next generation of leaders in the trades.

Adult students recently experienced the delicious tradition of preserving fruit in our hands-on “From Orchard to Jar: The Art of Jam & Jelly” course. Guided by Personal Enrichment Instructor Joshua Ouellette, participants learned beginner-friendly techniques and each left with homemade strawberry jam and apple jelly.
Thank you, Mr. Ouellette, for sharing such a flavorful learning experience with the Whittier community!

Sharing her Dominican roots from San Pedro de Macorís, Amalia introduced the phrase: “El que no corre, no se embala” — “if you don’t run, you won’t have momentum.” Her words encouraged all Wildcats to be bold, embrace challenges, and celebrate who we are and where we come from.
Amalia is pictured with Principal Laganas and fellow club member Jair Martinez.
Special thanks to Multicultural Club Advisor Susannah DiMauro for guiding these important celebrations! 💙💛
